Tangier provides both its name and its point of departure — a city historically shaped by movement between North Africa, the Mediterranean and Europe.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe distinction is in the frame. Substantial acetate, architectural lines and unconventional lens colours are developed around Port Tanger’s signature curved one-front construction, designed to follow the natural contours of the face. Rather than simply revisiting vintage eyewear, familiar aviators, rectangular frames, masks and oversized silhouettes are manipulated through scale and proportion until they acquire an identity of their own.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEvery frame is handmade in Japan using cellulose acetate, specialist hardware and nylon lenses with full UVA\/UVB protection. The six-point steel rivet has become a recognisable house code — a small but deliberate signature within an otherwise restrained approach to branding.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIts \u003cstrong\u003eVisited By\u003c\/strong\u003e programme places collaboration at the centre of the brand rather than at its periphery.
